Blood, Perfume & Tears is a journey through the story of the death and resurrection of Jesus, seen and experienced through the eyes of the three Marys - Mary of Nazareth, the mother of Jesus, Mary of Bethany, and Mary of Magdala, otherwise known to us as Mary Magdalene.

 

This multi-sensory drama-liturgy spirals around the ancient tradition of Aromatherapy. Each of the scents used, Frankincense, Spikenard and Myrrh, are linked to the women and woven into the story of Christ's passion.
